Top 5 Hong Kong Beauty and Make-Up Shops
I’ve previously blogged about shopping in Hong Kong and one of the reasons why it’s so amazing, is some of the incredible hair and beauty shops available in the city. Korean, Japanese and Chinese beauty products are all the rage at the moment, so I thought I’d highlight the best places to shop in the city for all your cosmetic and skin-care needs!
Top 5 Places to shop for Cosmetics and Beauty in Hong Kong
PS Check out the title for the link to each, to ooh and aah at your hearts content!
5. Angel Cosmetics
One of the smallest chains of beauty shops in Hong Kong, I love this shop as there’s LOADS of bargains here. I found plenty of things at half the price at some of the other stores. I found one at the bottom of Fa Yuen Market – a market popular with locals and picked up some great cosmetics, all on offer.
Bonjour is like the Superdrug of Hong Kong and has a great range of beauty products from all around the Far East. It’s has some top deals too. I bought this gorgeous Etude House blusher from there, for half the price it’d be in their own brand store.
You’ll find a Watsons or Mannings – both different companies but very similar style stores, pretty much on every main street in Hong Kong. It’s like their version of Boots. It has a few make up stands within it but I’d opt for picking out more skincare and hair products within this shop. I had just permed my hair so bought some Japanese Lucido-L products,. I’d never tried them before but they had a brilliant range in the shop and looked lovely so thought I’d give it a try.
2. Etude House
I LOVE this Korean brand! It has the most beautiful nail varnishes, make up and skincare products. I wanted to buy up the whole shop. Since I last visited Hong Kong, Etude House has become even more popular with plenty of stand alone stores (all that look like pretty doll houses) dotted around the city. I’ll be sharing more of what I picked up in my beauty haul post later!
If you’re serious about beauty and skincare, this is the place to stop if you’re visiting Hong Kong. Everyone knows Sasa. It has literally every brand name you could think of. The prices range but are pretty reasonable. I picked up some great products here from Etude House (Korean) to Kate (Japanese).
If you head to Hong Kong, it’s definitely worth hunting out these stores. Hair, make up and skincare products here are sometimes at a different level, and pretty much all of them have the most gorgeous packaging! Hong Kong really is a shopaholics dream.
Thanks for reading and ciao for now!
