My über stylish and lovely ex-student and previous intern, Laura Middlemass, and her talented course mates, have created brand new must-have item, a ‘Wrapple’!

The product is part of their Northumbria University Fashion Communication course, in which they have to set up a small independent business. Head over to their Facebook page to find out more and give them a helping hand!

Thanks for reading and ciao for now x

May be a few weeks late with this – but wow, what a year 2014 was. SO much happened so I thought I’d pull together some of my top 5 highlights!

Again, a big massive thank you for reading my blog, feels like it’s been ages since my first ‘hello world’. Hope you enjoy what’s to come (some exciting announcements soon!!!!)

Bonus one – Tour De France
Couldn’t squeeze in my Top 5 but simply can’t not mention it, the Tour De France came to my home region of Yorkshire this year and it was just spectacular. The atmosphere, the race, everything! Here’s hoping it comes to Newcastle next time round!

5. Christmas in Hong Kong
What a great way to end the year – with my family in Hong Kong, including HK Disneyland on Christmas eve!

4. Work
Might be a weird thing to put but it’s been an incredible year, what with lecturing in fashion at Northumbria University, to launching the first ever NE1’s Newcastle Music Week. It was also the fourth year of NE1’s Newcastle Fashion Week with the added bonuses of a catwalk with Company Magazine, Julien Macdonald and Sophie Ellis Bextor as a guest! LOVE my job!

3. Holidays
I’ve been blessed to have some great hols this year, from a Valentine’s break at Breakwater Cottage, a wedding in Moldova to a relaxing visit to Somerset (avec cider!). Moldova was the craziest holiday, the people we knew were so friendly and generous, that literally we had a massive banquet of food, with unlimited wine almost every day. The wedding had a limo driving through cannons that shot out glitter and hired dancers to waltz the bride in (seriously!!!). Amaaaaazing!

2. Best Style Blog Award
I was delighted to win Best Style Blog at the North East Bloggers Award. I was honestly so surprised and its lovely to have some recognition for all the effort and time I spend on my blog. Thanks again to all that nominated and voted for me!

1. Family
Ah sounds like such a weird thing to put in the list, but after a bit of a scare, I am even more grateful for all the time I spent with my friends and family last year. PLUS I had to include this photo with me and my 4 year old Godson as my photo of the year!
